Toffee, Peppermint, Orange, Jasmine White Tea, Caramel, Silky and Elegant.
Cerro Azul means blue peak in Spanish. It is the highest of all the plantations among Cafe Granja La Esperanza, the home of its best coffees.
Owner Mr. Correa was determined to replicate the geography and microclimate of Esmeralda of Panama, from which gesha was made famous to the world. Cerro Azul gesha is now ranked among the best geshas in Colombia, winning the name “farm of the triple crowns”. This year’s crop has a very delicate profile of toffee and peppermint on fragrance, the typical gesha florals and white tea, a touch of mandarin orange, the sweetness of caramel and a very silky finish.
