Remera washing station is located at approximately 1935m above sea level in the District of Nyamagabe, in the Gasaka sector. It has been managed by Elias Dusabeyezu since 2007. It provides jobs for 60-80 people during the peak harvest and has 7 full time staff. Most, if not all, of Rwandan coffee are traditional washed bourbons. This particular lot is the result from 4 years of experimental works from Sam Muhirwa, owner of Buf Coffee, who has won COE in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
